WITH YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS AND PROFESSIONALS
Meeting between the President of the Region and the Council
Rome, 14 June 2024 – Before the summer, the president of the Lazio Region, Francesco Rocca, will convene the tables to open a constructive and constant dialogue with young entrepreneurs and professionals, starting from economic development and support for businesses together with the agriculture, in the presence of the competent councilors Roberta Angelilli and Giancarlo Righini.
There were many proposals put forward by the categories of young professionals and entrepreneurs during today’s meeting with President Rocca in the Sala Tevere of the Lazio Region: less bureaucracy for access to credit and services, more support for young entrepreneurs, new businesses and consolidated ones, respecting the rotation of professional roles and encouraging digitalisation in public administration, primarily in the agricultural sector. And again: simplification of procedures in the field of construction and urban planning, reviewing the standards for fair compensation for new generations in the world of work.
The Consulta also received applause for the 14 thousand healthcare hires, through 661.5 million euros, to strengthen the regional health service also in view of the 2025 Jubilee; on the reform of the single booking center to return to managing only private and public agendas in order to reduce waiting times; on the opening of clinics on weekends; on the unblocking of the new infrastructures (from the Cisterna-Valmontone link road, up to the extension of the Rome-Latina to Fondi).
President Rocca said he was very satisfied with the meeting and welcomed the requests of the young entrepreneurs and professionals.
«Direct dialogue with young people is stimulating and pleasant, through which horizons are broadened and points of view are changed. This is a moment of growth, from which I will never escape. After a year of government we have reprogrammed the regional administration and we can already see positive results which are a stimulus to continue working hard, with the objectives of drastically reducing distances and helping the new generations to be increasingly protagonists of society”, declared president Francesco Rocca at the end of the meeting.
