Whether Zampa may have committed crimes we will know at the end of next Tuesday’s hearing, for now the contents of some telephone interceptions of him while he speaks with an English lawyer remain. For example: 500 thousand pounds is money that they can somehow trace back to me, money that was not then channeled into Kidman”, i.e. one of the companies that Bochicchio used for his financial operations. In those wiretaps Zampa is afraid of being arrested, so much so that he proposes to the lawyer a settlement with the victims: “I want to remain a free man.” The lawyer is not very optimistic: «Sebastiano is a very difficult position you find yourself in». How difficult, we will know better in a week.
