‘Bari Pedala’, the bicycle festival in the city, returns on 6 and 7 April

An event dedicated only to ‘two-wheelers without engines’. Back in the city on 6 and 7 April, ‘Bari Pedala’, the bicycle festival organized by the Franco Ballerini cycling school, the Cooperativa Zerobarriere and the Aps Lezzanzare and sponsored by the Sports department of the Municipality of Bari. Among the activities implemented in the two days dedicated to two wheels, road education and cycling courses, as well as walks on non-engined vehicles on three different routes.

It starts on Saturday 6 April, from 10am to 7pm in Largo Giannella, with free trials on vehicles suitable for disabilities and the presentation of the “Nicola Marzulli general prize” to the student who best distinguished himself for civil merit. There will also be space for road education lessons organized by the “Amichi di Michi Visaggi” association and the Lezzanzare Aps. There will then be an area dedicated to freestyle for the world of skateboarding and rollerblading, with the DJ set curated by D.sabile.J Leonardo Baccarella in the company of boys and girls from schools in Bari.

On Sunday 7 April the cycle walk will take place with departures at 9.00 from three different points of the city: Japigia, Carbonara and San Paolo which will then all converge towards the Bari seafront, which for the occasion will be closed to traffic, and in the direction of Largo Giannella .
