«Is Torrazza Piemonte attractive? My answer is yes because over time many private individuals have decided to establish their businesses here.” Mayor Massimo Rozzino, whose mandate expires in less than sixty days, is proud to be able to announce that a new sports center will be built in the town, the second after the one already present in Borgoregio.
Here comes paddle, tennis, beach volleyball and multi-purpose sports
«In via Traversa Mazzini, where deforestation work has begun in recent days, a sports center will be built promoted by the Evra Srl company based in Crescentino – explains the mayor, showing us the project – It is an area intended for services where this company has decided to build three paddle courts, three tennis courts and two beach volleyball courts. Naturally with all the necessary services such as changing rooms and bathrooms. And so is the parking area.
But it doesn’t end here because, in the project already approved by the Piedmont Region, the construction of a multipurpose hall which will be made available to the community is also envisaged. Yes just like this. There is an agreement between the Municipality and the owners that will guarantee this possibility for our population.”
The cycle/pedestrian path
«The project also includes the creation of a cycle/pedestrian path to reach the center – comments Rozzino – which will connect with the one that will be built by the company that will set up the new logistics hub. Therefore the cycle path will start from Traversa Mazzini where, in fact, there will be this sports center, it will join with the one that those of the logistics center will create, again in Traversa Mazzini which will then end at the roundabout, that is between the provincial road 90 and via Fausto Coppi , then the cycle/pedestrian path that has been under construction in recent weeks (in addition to the roundabout) will already be operational. This latest work compensates for the new structure built in the area next to Amazon.”
A project certainly worthy of note which will be the subject of the next and last municipal council before the elections, that of Tuesday 23 April.
«The Council will be called to approve the non-variant variant for the construction of this sports center. In the same session, the report and the project relating to the house confiscated from the mafia will also be discussed” concludes Rozzino.
