Telti is preparing for the second edition of the Vittorio Inzaina Prize

TO Telti the curtain opens on the second edition of the “Vittorio Inzaina Award”, an important springboard for the Sanremo Festival. This is the news that many young Sardinian artists were waiting for, after the success of the last edition won by the very young girl Sandra Maricosu. The event will take place in the evocative setting of Piazza del Duomo in Telti. It will be a unique opportunity for young Sardinian artists to make themselves known and get involved in front of an audience of industry experts.

The three dates of the event

The event will take place over three days, Friday 30 August, Saturday 31 August and Sunday 1 September. It will involve solo singers, duos or musical bands over the age of 13 (there is no maximum age limit), who will be able to perform with published and unpublished songs (the latter must be regularly deposited with a legally recognized company that protects the rights of author) in Italian, foreign or dialect. The Vittorio Inzaina Award is organized by the Municipality of Telti, in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Telti, with the aim of “promoting and enhancing the presence of young people in the pop music sector and giving young people opportunities to meet with artistic and professional operators of the sector”. It will be combined with the national selections of Home Sanremo LiveBox 2025. The patron of the event will be, also in this second edition, the master Giovanni Budronimusician and singer with proven experience and great professionalism, former regional selector for the Sanremo Area.

The support of Vittorio Inzaina’s family was fundamental to the success of the event.
As the patron of the event Budroni states, “Casa Sanremo is one of the most important launching pads for emerging young people, who in these days meet record companies, authors, singers, conductors, arrangers and producers. Being listened to by these people who are part of the world of music and above all of the world of music production is fundamental.” Maestro Budroni has always supported and encouraged young artists, and this event allows them to concretely pursue their dream.

What is LiveBox in Sanremo

“LiveBox it is not a competition or a contest – explains the maestro Ciro Barbato -. It is space which allows talents of any age (kids, young, senior) to perform with their own music within an event that amplifies the mood linked to the Sanremo Festival”.

How to sign up

Aspirants who intend to participate in the contest will have to pass an initial selection. It will take place in Olbia in front of an artistic commission chaired by maestro Budroni and composed of personalities from the world of music and entertainment. To participate in the selection, candidates will have to download the regulations and the application from the Telti Municipality website, on the homepage/news, which can also be requested directly from the artistic director. Three are up for grabs scholarships, of 500, 300 and 200 euros, for the first three classified. In addition to participating in the RAI selections for Sanremo Giovani. There will also be a Critics’ Award. For the top 20 classified the doors of “Casa Sanremo LiveBox” will open, a world that for many is the real springboard into the world of song.
