Three years after the death of Paolo Calissano, the actor who passed away on 29 December 2021 due to intoxication from antidepressant drugs, and seven months after the arrests of the support administrator who took care of his assets from 2006 for 13 years, the investigations have ended of the Genoa prosecutor’s office on the lawyer Matteo Minna. According to the Ligurian prosecutors, who investigated current accounts and bank movements, the legal guardian deceived the actor and three other people for a total of 800 thousand euros. Half a million in money was stolen from Calissano alone, according to the investigators who acted on the impulse of the complaint presented by the family, starting with his brother Roberto, through the lawyer Santina Ierardi. His relatives had become suspicious of both money withdrawals and economic transactions. Minna is under house arrest for aggravated embezzlement, false ideology and false appraisal, and is also under investigation for circumvention of an incompetent person: thanks to his powers of attorney, he would have organized the buying and selling of companies to hide the movements of money. The Genoa court had appointed Minna as support administrator for Calissano, after the legal events that had involved him. In fact, in 2005 the actor, a well-known face on TV in the 1990s and 2000s, was sentenced to four years in prison for the sale of narcotics after the death of a woman from a cocaine overdose in his home. In 2008 he was found driving positive for white powder after an accident and served his sentence in a drug rehabilitation community.
