How to vote in the 2024 municipal elections in Italy: explanation and graphs

How to vote

Municipalities under 15 thousand inhabitants

In municipalities under 15 thousand inhabitants split voting is not possible: the election is in a single round and whoever gets it wins more preferences. The ballot

The possible ballot interests the municipalities in voting with population exceeding 15 thousand inhabitants and it will take place dSunday 23rd and Monday 24th June (in that case the polling stations will be open from 7am to 11pm on Sunday and from 7am to 3pm on Monday). The run-off round, however, will not concern the municipalities that vote in Friuli Venezia Giuliabecause all with a population of less than 15 thousand inhabitants.
