here’s what we know about the star’s project

Jennifer Lawrence will star in the film The Wivesdescribed as “a mystery with lots of drama” in which the Oscar-winning actress will be able to “fighting, day drinking and access to a large amount of disposable income, at least until a body is found.”as the American newspaper Variety anticipates when announcing the news.

Apple Original Films acquired the project in what he describes as one “highly competitive scenario”. Lawrence will produce the film alongside Justine Ciarrocchi for his company, Excellent Cadaver. The Wives will be written by Michael Breslin And Patrick Foleythe authors of the play Circle Jerk, finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. The film is co-produced by Apple Studios And A24who they had previously worked together on Causewaya 2022 drama film starring Jennifer Lawrence.

The two companies are also collaborating on High and Low, Spike Lee’s upcoming remake of Akira Kurosawa’s film starring Denzel Washington. Previous collaborations include STEVE! (martin): a documentary in 2 partsby Oscar winner Morgan Neville, and Macbethdirected by Joel Coen and starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand,

Apple’s upcoming programs finally include Fly Me to the Moonstarring Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum; The Instigators, starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck, directed by Doug Liman; and the film about Formula 1 with Brad Pitt directed by Joseph Kosinski as yet untitled.
