Another week of events and activities with the tenth edition of Lucca Theater Festival – What are clouds?created by La Cattiva Compagnia with the contribution of the Municipality of Lucca and the Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca Foundation and with the patronage of the Province of Lucca, the Toscana Spettacolo Foundation, which continues until 4 August.

After sold out of the show that opened the festival with the comic singer Lorenzo Baglioni, tomorrow (1st July), from 5pm to 6.45pm appointment with the Creative Lab, Drip Run Roll, at the Municipal Library of Porcari, in collaboration with the Municipality of Porcari and the Municipal Library.

On Tuesday (July 2nd), we go at 9.30pm In Scena! family show with Cartoon Toylettean appointment with Nicolas Benincasa (El Nino Del Retrete), a poetic and delicate clown, with a show that has won numerous awards, to laugh and smile together, in the courtyard of the Agora Civic Library, in collaboration with the Municipality of Lucca, Agorà Civic Library.

Appointment Thursday (4 July), at 5pm, with In Scena! Interpreted reading of The seagull and the cat who taught her to fly, from the story of the same name by Luis Sepùlveda, at the Public Gardens of Benabbio, (Bagni di Lucca), in collaboration with the Municipality of Bagni di Lucca, Associazione Filarmonica Benabbio.

Saturday (July 6), at 7pm, On Stage! The Theater of Possibilitieswith the show It takes a flower to raise awareness on environmental issues in the cloister of the Convent of Sant’Anna in Pieve Fosciana, in collaboration with the Municipality of Pieve Fosciana, Fita Provincial Committee of Lucca, Scuolina Raggi di Sole and La Cattiva Compagnia Teatro.

Il Lucca Theater festival returns for the fourth year in a summer version, creating a rich calendar of shows for families, and workshops for children and teenagers, all with free entry or participation.

The festival, which also aims to pay homage to the memory of John Faithful, its first artistic director, who died prematurely at the age of 48, consolidates its cultural vocation and confirms its leadership throughout the province, in the offer of entertainment aimed at young people and families, with 28 events and shows, all of them high level, in two months, in 10 different locations.

The theme of this 2024: Do, Re, Mi… Fa Theatre! brings us a tenth edition dedicated to music, with many of the shows accompanied by live soundtracks.

The Festival is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Lucca (Agorà Civic Library), the Municipality of Porcari (Municipal Library – Vincenzo Da Massa Carrara Auditorium), the Municipality of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, the Municipality of Pieve Fosciana, the Municipality of Bagni di Lucca (Benabbio Philharmonic), the Municipality of Capannori, Fita – Provincial Committee of Lucca, Raggi di Sole School, Real Collegio, Animando – Music Promotion Center; Maria Pacini Fazzi Editore, Artebambini, BadaBimbi.
