A landfill in front of the entrance to the new cemetery of San Lazzaro and a part of the cemetery fenced off apparently for no reason. It is the former mayor of Viterbo Giovanni Arena who denounces it with an ad hoc video on his Facebook page.

«I have different types of reports because many people from Viterbo refer to me for situations of degradation – says Arena – As regards the cemetery there is that scandal immediately after the entrance to the holy field with an open-air landfill which is not humanely possible because you already go to this place with a certain state of mind and find yourself faced with this shameful abandonment of waste.”
Giovanni Arena is annoyed by this situation of disrespect for a sacred place that is a symbol of meditation and decorum. “Inside the new cemetery – continues Arena – there is a part that has been completely fenced off and there is no sign indicating any work in progress and for how long. It is only a fenced off area of the cemetery that prevents relatives from going to bring a flower to their loved ones on their graves”.
The former mayor of Viterbo has been receiving various reports from the people of Viterbo for some time and has transformed his page into a point of public denunciation of what is wrong in Viterbo.
At the San Lazzaro cemetery he documented these two facts with a video, the open-air dump in front of the entrance and the internal fenced area that prevents access to the internal tombs which, certainly, are two indecent facts considering it is a place of worship.
«I ask that the municipal administration and the mayor Frontini with the competent councilor immediately take charge of this situation – concludes Giovanni Arena – which is unfortunate to say the least. What is serious is that no one has given explanations for these facts. I will continue to report these situations of public degradation in Viterbo that are reported to me through my social media. The protest is now generalized on various facts but I always try to make a constructive speech from time to time to best stimulate the Municipality of Viterbo.”
