There is less than a week to go until the start of the AC Milan training camp, scheduled for Monday 8 July at Milanello. It will be the first day of the new coach Paulo Fonseca who will not have the players involved in the European Championships and the Copa America at his disposal: Theo Hernandez and Maignan (France), Pulisic and Musah (United States), Reijnders (Holland), Leao (Portugal), Jovic (Serbia), Okafor (Switzerland). The squad will work shoulder to shoulder with Milan Futuro, the Under 23 team led by Daniele Bonera who will participate for the first time in the Serie C championship, in group B, starting on Sunday 25 August, while the first rounds of the Coppa Italia in the category will be on Sunday 11 and 18 August. As for the first team, the first friendlies are also official, starting with the debut scheduled for Saturday 20 July at 5:30 pm, in Austria, against Rapid Vienna at the Allianz Stadion in Hutteldorf. Following the pre-season, the Rossoneri will move to the United States where, on the occasion of the Soccer Champions Tour, they will face three top European teams. On Sunday 28 July at midnight (Italian time), the first big match against Manchester City, at the Yankee Stadium in New York. On Wednesday 31 July instead, at 20:30 Italian time, the challenge in Chicago against Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid. The last stop in Baltimore, on Tuesday 6 August: match against Barcelona at 19:30.
At Inter, however, the date of the gathering has not yet been made official, which should be Saturday 13 July. For the next four years, the sports infotainment brand will be present on the prestigious Nerazzurri shirt, concrete proof of the largest shirt sponsorship agreement in the club’s history”, reads yesterday’s press release. The agreement should bring in about 30 million euros per season to the Nerazzurri club.
