A welcome meeting was held this morning in the Province for 24 new employees who have recently started work in various offices with different levels of classification.
They were welcomed by the provincial councilor for economic development, work, university and research Achille Spinelli, by the general director of the Department of organization, personnel and general affairs Luca Comper, by the general director of the strategic mission unit for heritage and transport Mauro Groff, by the director of the Personnel Service Maria D’Ippoliti and by the general director of the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino Giuseppe Ferrandi.
The aim of the meeting was to provide new employees with information on the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Trentino public system and autonomy. It was also an opportunity to highlight the role of public administration in accompanying the transformation of society and in responding to needs that have changed over time.

«Ours – underlined Councillor Spinelli – is a complex system that manages numerous competences.
«There is therefore always a need for new blood and people who want to put their skills and enthusiasm at the service of the functioning of the machine, also to be the leader of a large public system.»
The councilor therefore referred to the public system as a whole, with the institutions and companies that are part of it, which represents an important factor in the economy and in society.
“Trentino – he added – has seen significant development in recent decades thanks to important reforms and new skills; it has managed to grow and become an innovative territory that today also wants to be a model of good administration and ability to use public resources.”
In his welcome message, the councilor also reminded the new hires that in their work they will be able to have job satisfaction and will be able to develop their expectations.
What is needed, Spinelli concluded, is enthusiasm, the desire to work as a team and to make our system grow.

Engineer Groff offered his personal experience, starting from the choice to enter the public administration after having worked in the private sector.
He recalled that each employee can make an important contribution and highlighted the importance of the rules that are necessary for carrying out the various activities.
Dr. Comper, who also brought greetings from the General Director of the Province Raffaele De Col, spoke on the theme of values and identity that characterize the special autonomy of Trentino. He referred to the well-being achieved by our province and the themes of volunteering that characterizes the community and the commitment that is recorded in the cultural field; he also spoke of the importance of training public personnel.
Dr. D’Ippoliti gave an overview of the organization of the Province and its articulation and also of the Trentino public system.
He also referred to the ongoing collaborations with other territories, in particular through Euregio, Arge Alp and Eusalp.

Dr. Ferrandi spoke about the history of autonomy and the main steps that characterized the Statute.
He recalled that practicing autonomy, creating a dress tailored to the territory, means for Trentino first of all to carry out its role as a land positioned along the Brenner axis, which connects the north and south of Europe; furthermore, greater participation in public life and community involvement are needed.
The meeting concluded with a visit to the installation on autonomy inside the provincial palace.
