In the last few hours we have brought you numerous news items regarding the ongoing developments of the situation related to the future of Nicolò Cambiaghi. According to some sources, Parma has opened a discussion table with Atalanta in order to understand the margin of possibility of the 2000 class moving to the yellow-blue team. After a first attempt made by the ducal club to try to convince the Orobic team to let the boy leave through the loan route – later rejected by the Nerazzurri -, the Crusaders would have resigned themselves to complying with the requests of the Goddess with respect to the formula of the transfer of the ‘striker. The Bergamo club, in fact, would be willing to sell the player outright and currently estimates his price tag at around 15 million euros.

However, there seems to be strong competition from other teams for Cambiaghi and according to the rumours revealed by Gianluca Di Marzio, Parma would not be among the favourite teams in the fight for the purchase of the versatile player. Speaking to Sky Sport, the well-known market expert tried to clarify the vexed issue and here are his statements: “The closest to Cambiaghi is Bologna, but there are also Lazio and Como. The 2000-born talent has returned to Atalanta after his loan at Empoli, but he seems destined to leave Bergamo”.
