Arezzo, 26 June 2024 – The Arezzo Basketball School is pleased to announce the hiring of Leonardo Prenga, an internal player born in 2004, who grew up in the youth team of VL Pesaro where in his last year he was the protagonist of the victory of the Next Gen Cup with the Marche team .
Last year, however, he played for the Teramo a Spicchi Interregional Serie B team, with a very positive second part of the season where he came close to double-digit average scoring combined with 5 rebounds per game.
Coach Fioravanti’s comment on the new signing: “Prenga is a name I have followed for some time, after playing against last year in the Marche-Abruzzo group, because I was particularly impressed by his potential.
I’m happy that he has embraced our project: he will give us a big hand in painting, where he manages to combine technique and power, also because I am convinced he has great room for improvement.”
Leonardo Prenga comments on his arrival in Amaranth: “I was happy to receive this offer from Arezzo as they had spoken very well to me about this club, but above all I accepted for the trust that the coach places in me despite my young age, this in fact allows me to have a new experience with more responsibility which will certainly impact my career as a basketball player.”
