BARI – It avails itself of the prestigious patronage of National Center for Leopardian Studies of Recanati,”Leopards and the Stars”, the Theater-Science show being held Saturday 29 June at 7 pm in the spaces of the Bari Planetarium. On the day of the anniversary of the birth of the great poet, Pierluigi Catizone And Gianluigi Belsitorespectively scientific director of the Planetarium and artistic director of the Teatro del Viaggio, pay homage Leopards underlining his passionate astronomical feeling.
He himself basically said that “the most sublime, the most noble of the physical sciences is undoubtedly Astronomy” and that “the mind is enlightened and reassured when it finds order and rule, where it believed only confusion and ruin ”. The show alternates famous lyrics which all have a connection with the cosmos, such as L’Infinito, Alla Luna, Le Ricordianze, with multimedia interventions which didactically illustrate the structure of the universe, the meaning of the constellations, the formation of the stars, in a game of images and words. The chosen material, that of the skies, is for the poet an abstraction, an imagination at the service of his daily life and his poetry. Poetry as beauty. Which is linked to the beauty of everything we can see, feel, or even imagine in the immense, superhuman and infinite Universe.
