There are three ordinances signed in the last few hours by the mayor of Legnano, Lorenzo Radice, to guarantee the safe holding of Rugby Sound, scheduled from 27 June to 13 July on the island of Castello Visconteo.

As explained by the Municipality, the first concerns the protection of the territory and urban livability during the days of the event and prohibits access to unauthorized persons on the Isola del Castello. Furthermore, from 7 pm to 2 am, in the concert area it will not be possible to consume drinks in glass bottles or cans, nor will it be possible to enter with objects that constitute a risk to the safety of others and with animals. The Municipal Operations Center (COC) and the Advanced Medical Post (Pma) will be active in the concert area with personnel from the Local Police, Civil Protection, the Red Cross and the Fire Brigade with the relevant vehicles.

The second ordinance aims to ensure conditions of tranquility in the city areas most directly affected by the demonstration and requires, from 27 June to 13 July in the time slot between 6pm and 3am, commercial administration activities in public areas not to sell spirits and take-away alcohol in glass bottles and cans, while, for serving establishments within the Rugby Sound area, it requires the serving of drinks in paper and plastic cups. The area affected by the ordinance is included between the streets for Canegrate and San Giorgio, Corso Magenta, Via Ratti, Via Verri, Via Santa Caterina, Viale Toselli, Via Strobino and within the border line with the Municipalities of San Vittore Olona and Canegrate.

The third ordinance modifies the road system and, in particular, prohibits permanent parking on Via Per San Vittore Olona and in the adjacent dirt car park; establishes, still on via per San Vittore, the one-way system from Viale Toselli during the influx of the public and the one-way system towards Viale Toselli during the outflow; prohibits traffic in via dei Mulini, from the intersection with via per San Giorgio, from 6pm to 2am; prohibits traffic on via per San Vittore for vehicles coming from via Fornasone from 6pm to the end of the concerts.
