Now everything seems done the arrival of Jasmin Repeša on the Trapani Shark bench. The Croatian coach, master of European basketball, he will lead the Sicilian team in the next A1 series championship, after the fantastic promotion achieved by winning the playoff final against Fortitudo Bologna. Therefore, for the coach of the historic Granata climb to the top flight, Andrea Diana, the role of second coach would arise if he agreed to be Repeša’s deputy, otherwise the paths with the Trapani club would separate.
Two championships on the board
After the rumors that have spread in recent hours about the arrival of Repeša in the grenade, it was the president Valerio Antonini himself who confirmed the incoming signature during an interview given to Corriere dello Sport. Repeša, born in 1961, after spending the first period of his career as a coach in Croatia, arrived in Italy in 2002 at Fortitudo Bologna, then coached Virtus Roma until 2008. In 2015 he joined Olimpia Milano. Since 2020 he is still in Italy, between Pesaro and Fortitudo again. On his board there are, among the various titles, 2 Italian championships: with Fortitudo (2005) and with Olimpia Milano (2016).
