In fact, the red world champion is the best at the end of the 45′ of practice: in 1’32.401 he precedes Marc Marquez (Ducati Gresini) by 0.065, Raul Fernandez (Aprilia Trackhouse) by 0.100 and Fabio Quartararo’s Yamaha by 0.193. Cold shower for Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46): the Roman’s best time, achieved with the soft rear tyre, is cancelled after the checkered flag due to ‘track limits’ and in the end he finds himself seventh.

Completing the top 10 are the two Aprilias, with Maverick Viñales fifth (0.277) ahead of his teammate Aleix Espargaro (0.287), then 8th Alex Marquez (Ducati Gresini) at 0.366, 9th Brad Binder with the first KTM at 0.462 and tenth is the leader of the World Championship Jorge Martin (Ducati Pramac) at 0.526.
