flooding in Bagno di Romagna

A vortex positioned on the Tyrrhenian Sea influences the weather over much of Italy, causing strong instability. In particular, thunderstorms and intense showers are reported in these hours Emilia Romagna. The Romagna ridge, the medium-high Emilian Apennines and the Parma area are affected by significant rainfall accumulations. A very intense precipitation nucleus affects the upper Romagna Apennines, causing an increase in the level of the Bidente river Holy Sofiaalthough not worrying at the moment.

Due to intense rainfall, flooding has been reported in San Piero in Bagno, a hamlet of Bagno di Romagna, in the province of Forlì-Cesena. Following the rainfall that affected the Municipality, 3 teams of the Fire Brigade are working in the municipal area to deal with around ten requests for assistance following flooding and damage caused by water.
