There is more than a month left until the start of the new season for the Sassuolo Women which will undergo major changes. In the secret black-green rooms Alessandro Terzi, Development Director of the Women’s Area of Sassuolo, one of the three Directors of the Professional Women’s Serie A Division, works together with his collaborators to build a competitive squad, worthy of the Neroverdi’s ambitions. As is known, he will no longer be at the helm of the club after 6 years Gianpiero Piovaniwho will join Inter in the next few days, but has arrived Gian Loris Rossiformer deputy of Piovani and fresh from an experience on the Sampdoria bench.
These are weeks of meetings, chats, especially on the market but we also work to build the new vintage from the ground up. Sassuolo Women will also go into retreat and will do so away from Mapei Football Center. The black and green season will begin at the end of July with the medical visits at the Mapei Sport centre, then the meeting and the first training sessions at the headquarters before leaving for training camp. The Neroverde women’s team will also change location next season and will follow in the footsteps of the men’s first team, going to Ronzone.

Training camp scheduled for the Neroverdi starting from 31st July, approximately 10 days from the end of the men’s training camp. Ronzone, a mountain town in the province of Trento in Alta Val di Non, will offer players an ideal environment to concentrate on work and prepare as best as possible for the new season. There will also be some friendly challenges, of course. The retreat will serve to start the season on the right foot and to start forming a group with the new coach, Gian Loris Rossi, at the helm.
