The Trapani Sharks are very wild as they have decided to focus on Jasmin Repesa as coach and on Awudu Abass as the Italian national teamaccording to Giuseppe Sciascia of La Prealpina.
The Croatian coach has an excellent relationship with the Como player and this would help convince Abi to sign a very interesting two-year contract in Sicily, rather than returning to Milan and not being a rotation player.
At the moment, however, the Türkiye track is in the background for Awudu Abass, who he will play either with Jasmin Repesa’s Trapani Shark or with Ettore Messina’s Olimpia Milano. Tertium non datur.
Repesa has a great feeling with the 1993 class that he had in Milan from 2016 to 2018. Although he didn’t play much under the technical guidance of “Gelsomino”, Abi is grateful towards the former Pesaro player because he allowed him to grow and become a dominant player in Brescia, before earning a move to Virtus Bologna.
Let’s see if the Trapani Shark’s Italian strike will really be Awudu Abass. The possibilities are very high. In case of refusal by Abi, Milan could think about bringing Davide Alviti back to Lombardy, who is also an option for Virtus Bolognagiven the almost certain farewell to the former Cantù winger.
