It was held Friday 21 June in the splendid setting of the Sala Dei Lampadari I. Falcomatà of Palazzo San Giorgio la VII Edition of the Francesco Giurato Awardorganized by Francesco Giurato Training School and from Criminal Chamber of Reggio Calabria G. Sardiello.
In this edition the Award, entitled toSworn lawyeran illustrious criminal lawyer who stood out in the Reggio forensic scene for his refined oratory skills, was awarded to the memory oflawyer Giuseppe Fotia criminal lawyer from Reggio Emilia who has been able to embody incomparable human qualities and excellent procedural dialectic skills.
The meeting represented a moment to remember the man and his humility, paying homage to his figure as a refined criminal lawyer, an unforgettable teacher for many lawyers present at the event. The meeting, attended by lawyers and magistrates, introduced bylawyer Caterina Suracihead of the Juror Training School, opened with the greeting words of the City Councillor, Dr. Giuseppe Giordano representing the Mayor, those of the President of the Council of the Bar Association of Reggio Calabria, adv. Rosario Maria Infantino. The speech of the President of the Criminal Chamber of Reggio Calabria, adv. Pasquale Fotialso a student oflawyer Giuseppe Foti, was focused on the memory of his master and the need to pass on his great teachings to future generations. Defined by the lawyer. Suraci as “the lawyer of the fact”, as he centered his detailed defense construction on it, the lawyer.
