Ferdinandi excites the Frontone: «Whoever subjugates Perugia returns home. I hope to be the mayor who lives up to your dreams”

PERUGIA – Dressed in red, the mayoral candidate Vittoria Ferdinandi arrives at the Frontone, in front of the symbolic monument of the XX Giugno of Perugia, on board the bus that toured the city for two days, including songs, parties and stops among the citizens.

He talks about rights, transport, business, single-parent families and the disabled, “with a councilor for urban planning who today promises to want an inclusive city that she could have started building yesterday”, he says without naming his rival in the ballot on the 23rd and June 24th.
«Thank you – he says without a voice -, we gave ourselves wonderful months, the most beautiful of our lives. I had to get there with this voice here, which shows that we put all the voice we had into it, until our last breath. As it should be done when chasing a big dream. At the beginning it was a dream of some kids and instead look what we managed to do together. My Perugia, we have decided to go through you house by house, person by person, to say that we want to start taking care of our city.”
«We listened to individual screams, which then turned into a huge collective cry that said “we don’t want to feel so alone anymore”. And we have already responded to this cry. Because in recent months we have managed to create this, this very large community, which goes as it goes, will remain the greatest asset of this electoral campaign.”

Participation and a collective embrace with his many supporters, but also a response to the centre-right coalition: «The kind and moderate era of Andrea Romizi is over: we are faced with the worst right ever. Margherita Scoccia was able to make fun of my memory of the sea with my mother. Their culture is to shoot at an open wound. What remains of politics when it loses humanity?”. And again: «My hands? Many more caresses than clenched fists,” he said. With the last appeal under the monument of XX Giugno, before letting the notes of Cento passi by the Modena City Ramblers echo: «Whoever dares to subjugate Perugia returns home: on the 24th Perugia will prove it. Now forward united until victory: I hope to be the mayor who lives up to your dreams.”
