Ignazia had just returned home when the argument broke out with her partner. Her husband allegedly pounced on her, hitting her with a knife from the kitchen about ten times. The police immediately arrived on the scene and arrested the man. 118 arrived at the victim’s home and confirmed his death.
The authorities seized the clothing and the knife used in the crime. Initial information revealed that the relationship between the spouses was no longer going well, given the constant discussions the two had on a daily basis. They were practically separated at home. The woman often left the house and this night she came home late, which made her husband furious. The murderer said: “He laughed in my face and I never saw him again”. Then she fatally struck her.
Femicide in Arezzo
To Arezzoin Tuscany, in the Giotto area, this night a further feminicide took place by a 80 years old against his wife 72 years old suffering from Alzheimer’s. It all happened around midnight when the man shot to his wife, in the throes of a crisis linked to the fact that she was no longer able to manage and take care of her partner’s illness. The authorities arrived on site immediately, alerted by the man, who confessed everything. The murderer is in shock at the Arezzo police station. The weapon used to shoot the victim was duly reported.
