“Ghirlandina kids: there was a tower made of rhymes” is the theatrical visit to the Civic Tower, tailor-made for children from 5 years old and their families, scheduled for Sunday 23 June in two shifts: at 3.30 pm and 5.30 pm.

The climb to the Tower will take place between animated readings and fantastic stories, with actors and actresses who will tell the adventures of knights, princesses and witches, while the guides will integrate the theatrical narration with curiosities about the history of the Ghirlandina, symbol of Modena.

The special initiative is open to a maximum of 25 people per shift and is organized by the Ars/Archeosistemi cooperative with the City Promotion and Tourism service of the Municipality of Modena. To participate you must book on the VisitModena website (www.visitmodena.it/it/esperienze/esperienze-artecultura/visite-teatralizzate-con-attori). The meeting point for participants is at the Ghirlandina ticket office, in via Lanfranco, a quarter of an hour before the chosen time. The visit will last approximately 45 minutes.

Tickets for the guided tour can be paid directly at the Tower ticket office on the same day of the visit. Entrance to the Tower costs 3 euros; reduced price 2 euros (for children and students aged 6 to 26, over 65s and groups of at least 10 people); free for children up to 5 years old, for people with disabilities and their companions, guides and interpreters, teachers accompanying classes.
