Farinelli: “Citizens not informed about the Pug”

“Citizens were not adequately informed of the advent of the Pug.” Action secretary Danny Farinelli said this with the mayor “can afford to write in his electoral programme, even if it is not true, that it was approved by the City Council”.

“When citizens are aware of the implications of the Pug – he continues – the useful time for asserting rights, interests and observations will have passed: thus the city will remain suffocated, inactive, blocked: variations and years will be needed for their approval. Intervening on the corrections will no longer be possible: the times, the rules, the adoption, the approval, will act as deterrents”.

If this were not enough, according to Farinelli, “Today we have no interesting projects proposed by the administration and this is indicative of the foresight of those who have administered us over the last 5 years”. And so “the presence and weight of university students cannot be the only lever on which to base the development of the city: we need to aim for interested, cultured and curious tourism” with the commercial-tourist offer which “must travel at the same speed of political initiatives”.

For the local secretary of Action “we need, at the very least, a reorganization of the municipal machine, because it is quite strange to hear people say that they have become a model, when on Thursdays there is a queue of professionals in front of the municipal private building offices to take an appointment: this is absolutely not efficiency. And the fault lies not with the employees, but with those who manage our city.”

For 18 years Estense.com offers independent information to its readers and has never accepted public funds so as not to weigh even a cent on the shoulders of the community. The work we do has a considerable economic cost and private advertising is not always sufficient.
For this reason we ask those who read us every day and, we hope, appreciate us to give us a small contribution based on their possibilities. Even a small amount of support, multiplied by the tens of thousands of Ferrarese who read us every day, can become fundamental.
