Having replaced the part of the broken water pipe, we now proceed with welding: severe inconveniences after the suspension of the water supply in many municipalities south of Naples.
After the rupture of the large water main in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples), we are working hard to restore water to thousands of families. Gori, the company that manages the water supply to a large part of Southern Naples, explains in a note that the teams of technicians “have replaced the damaged pipe”.
They are currently completing the welding. «Afterwards – we read – the maneuvers to reopen the water flow will begin, which must take place with the utmost caution and gradually». In the meantime, there are tankers and batteries of fountains located in various points of the municipalities involved to mitigate the discomfort, aggravated by the scorching temperatures.
