the doctors play rock for Emergency

BARI – “Sound of Garage” is the name of the Apulian rock band that will perform on Saturday evening at 10pm at Medimex, the international music festival scheduled in Taranto from 19 to 23 June.

A particular band for many reasons: formed in 2011, it brought together doctors who shared a passion for rock music: Danny Sivo (vocals and guitar), Massimiliano Sivo on bass, Fabio Farina on drums and Antonio Sanguedolce on guitar. Antonio Sanguedolce is the current general director of the Bari Polyclinic.
And, again, Sound of Garage only perform for charity and for individual specific charitable causes.

Among the many charitable initiatives, Sound of Garage contributed with a specific tour for the supply of pianos to be donated to the Apulian hospitals. In 2020 they were selected by the Ministry of Health and Culture for the National Music Day which, on the occasion, was held in some Italian hospitals.

Tomorrow evening at the Spazio Porto in Taranto the Sound of Garage will perform covers of classic rock songs from the 60s – 70s – 80s, interpreting in particular a Rock Blues repertoire inspired by the great classics: the Rolling Stones, U2, the Cure, the Cult Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd.

Already present at Medimex in Taranto and Bari respectively in 2019 and 2022, always as part of specific fundraisers and in the campaign to support healthcare workers, this time during the Live, thanks to the volunteers of Gruppo Emergency Puglia they will show with reality the Emergency Pediatric Surgery Center in Uganda is virtual. It will thus be possible to listen to the stories of the patients and the stories of the healthcare personnel to learn about the impact that the Center has had on the territory.
