The former deputy mayor of Roncade succeeds Ernesto Bosa: «We will continue to work with the same dedication and passion as those who fight against these terrible diseases»
TREVISO – The Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma (AIL) announces the appointment of Sergio Leonardi as the new President of the Treviso Section for the next three years. The appointment of the President comes after 9 years of presidency of Ernesto Bosa, who led the association with passion and commitment.
Leonardi, a leading figure in the field of associations, volunteering and social work, stands out for his vast experience and dedication to the cause. With his 9-year mandate as Vice President of the Treviso AIL, with delegations to relations with Ulss 2, research projects and relations with the Scientific Committee, he has proven to be a competent and passionate professional. In the past he also held important positions as Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Roncade and Municipal Councillor, with responsibilities regarding social, employment and personnel policies. He also held the role of Health Assistant Coordinator at Ulss 9 and as Contract Professor at the University of Padua – Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
His commitment also extends to other areas, such as the presidency of the City of Roncade Foundation, the role of Roncade AIL Manager, participation in the Board of Directors of the Terra del Terzo Mondo voluntary association and in the Board of Directors of the Volunteer Service Center – Southern District. Since 1973 it has collaborated with AVIS in the Blood Collection Units and in raising awareness of blood donation in Treviso schools.

Andreina Fuser was then appointed alongside him as Vice President, Serenella Cais as Treasurer and Massimo Bottari as Secretary. The Councilors Eva Bedin, Maria Rosa Boarato and Fabio Gabbana were also elected, all for a team that has the aim of consolidating the objectives of the AIL Treviso throughout the Treviso area.
