The summer transfer market has started today which will last until August 30, with the usual overlap with the first days of the championship. At home Genoa, as we discussed several weeks agoplayers returning to base will be 38 and therefore there will be a large amount of work outgoing to allow for operations also incoming in light of the well-known debt restructuring agreement which entails a balance between income and expenditure that is always positive still for this summer transfer window (no longer from January 2025 onwards).
Before the start of the market, Genoa had already made official an entry (Little Vitinha) and two transfers (The pants permanently to Gornik Zabrze, with two years of salary saved, and Debenedetti on loan to Mantova, transfer preceded by the renewal of the player’s contract with Genoa until 2026).
Furthermore, the options for the right or obligation to redeem had been exercised from January onwards for Thorsby (about 4 million), Of Winter (8 million plus bonuses payable in four financial years), Junior Messiah (an operation worth approximately 3 million in total, including the amount of the onerous loan from last summer), Bohinen (about 2 million) and Malinovskyi (about 7 million).
