OLBIA. An important extraordinary maintenance intervention on the Liscia aqueduct that will involve Abbanoa technicians in via Barcellona is scheduled Thursday, July 4th. The work will start at 6:00 and will end at 16:00.

“A leak that the operator’s technicians have identified in a section of the supply pipe with a diameter of almost one meter inside an inspection manhole will be eliminated – Abbanoa reports -. The leak is affecting the service in the centers served: the city of Olbia and the municipalities of Loiri Porto San Paolo, Padru, Telti, Monti and San Teodoro. For this reason, an intervention plan was immediately prepared”. At the same time, several disconnections of old water networks will be carried out that Abbanoa has already replaced with new pipes built in the affected centers.

“During the time slot from 6:00 to 16:00, the section of the aqueduct will be put out of service. In the affected centers, pressure drops and interruptions will occur until the aqueduct is fully functional again around 18:00. All Abbanoa teams will be mobilized to carry out network maneuvers to limit interruptions by using the water reserves accumulated in the municipal tanks. The supply will be restored early if the interventions require less time than expected.”

Any anomaly can be reported to the Abbanoa fault reporting service via the toll-free number 800.022.040, active 24 hours a day.
