Florence, 19 June 2024 – Today is the great day ofSummer Rainbowthe party that marks the beginning of the summer season and which this year was entirely built around one theme: la Tuscany widespread. From today to June 25th there will be many events throughout the region to discover the beauty of Tuscany by combining events with music and tastings of typical products with guided tours and cultural and nature experiences. The event is promoted by Tuscany region with The nation with the support of Toscana Promozione Turistica, Fondazione Sistema Toscana and Vetrina Toscana and with the participation of trade associations.
The multicolor calendar will inaugurate today in one of the most beautiful places in Florence: Villa Bardini. And it will be the panoramic terrace of the Leggenda dei Frati, chef Filippo Saporito’s restaurant, that will host the opening toast in which the authorities will participate starting from 7pm. During the event, organized by Confcommercio Firenze-Arezzo, there will also be the possibility of free guided visits for the public to the adjacent Villa Bardini where the photographic exhibition dedicated to Mimmo Jodice is underway.
The Summer Rainbow also stops in Reggello, on Saturday 22 June, from 10am to 9pm, with a day of shows, talks, tastings, walks, guided tours and a free entry concert at sunset to the tune of Morricone at the Pratone di Vallombrosa. Promoted by the Fièri Aps Ets Association with the support of PRG, Vallombrosa Music Festival was born from a deep love for the territory and a passion for music and community life. At 7.30 pm music, but also words and suggestions to relive the magic of cinema and soundtracks with ‘Discovering Morricone’, the concert-show that the Ensemble Symphony Orchestra directed by Maestro Giacomo Loprieno dedicates to the great deceased composer. In short, a whole day under the Summer Rainbow.
