FOLLONICA – Tonight, around one thirty, while bringing a bottle to a table at Baluba (disco in via Sanzio in Follonica), a spark of the decoration with which the bubbles are served inadvertently ended up on the roof of the hut (archive photo) .
The staff at the tables were immediately alerted and in turn called the internal security team and the firefighters who were always present inside the disco. The situation was contained in a few minutes and the area was immediately secured also on the electrical front.
«We want to thank the firefighters, the police forces present and our internal staff – explains the director of the nightclub, Claudio Coppola –: the intervention was so immediate that many guests didn’t even notice what happened».
«Our attention towards the safety and security of those who frequent the Disco Village and Baluba is always very high, we have internal procedures that ensure promptness in case of need and then, fundamentally, we always have the support of the police forces order, of the healthcare personnel and firefighters who are with us every evening and whom we thank for their great commitment. The episode lasted a few minutes and the initial fire was immediately put out and so the evening continued without any hitches”
