TORINO – Also in Turin, at theInalpi Arenacirca 35,000 people will gather for the annual convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses: a three-day live meeting open to the public, aimed at sharing practical Bible advice and encouragement with participants.
The 2024 congress, entitled “We announce the good news!“, will be held on the weekend of July 5-7.
“We welcome the partnership with the city authorities of Turin who will host our convention,” said Daniele Clementi, spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses. “These conventions are eagerly awaited moments for thousands of people who seek positivity in their lives, and we are thrilled to once again hold our program in this welcoming and hospitable city.”
The “Proclaiming Good News!” convention will feature Bible-based videos, talks, and interviews, addressing such topics as:
– The importance of good news.
– The positive message according to Jesus.
– Tackling challenges with the power of good news.
The highlight of Saturday will be the baptism of people from surrounding communitieswhile a two-part video story will capture the public’s attention on Friday and Saturday.
In the weeks leading up to the convention, local Jehovah’s Witnesses will launch a campaign to invite people to attend this free event.
Last year, nearly 13 million people attended more than 6,000 three-day conferences around the world.
