A24 has released the official trailer of Heretichorror thriller that will see Hugh Grant in the surprising role of a Mephistophelian individual who will force two young nuns to take part in a deadly challenge.
You can find out more details about the plot of the film thanks to the official synopsis released by the production company, which reads as follows:
Two young Mormon missionaries will be forced to test their faith when they knock on the wrong door and are greeted by the diabolical Mr. Reed, who turns out to be far more dangerous than they could have ever imagined. The two missionaries will thus remain trapped and will have to fight for their lives in his deadly game of cat and mouse.

Heretic It was conceived, written and directed by Scott Beck e Bryan Woodswho have already signed the screenplays of films such as A Quiet Place – A Quiet Place, 65 – Escape from Earth e The BoogeymanThe two are also credited as producers along with Stacey Sher, Julia Glausi, Katie Aquino, Liliane Bedford, Kai Raka and Jeanette Volturno.
The cast of the film includes among its ranks Chloe East e Sophie Thatcher in the respective roles of the missionaries Sister Preston and Sister Barnes, while Hugh Grant he lends his face to Mr. Reed, the mysterious and disturbing individual who will plunge the two nuns into a spiral of terror. They complete the cast River Codack, Carolyn Adair, Elle McKinnon, Elle Young e Stephanie Lavigne.
