Suspect of wife’s murder: in prison

Marco Satori, 43 years old, has been in prison since Sunday afternoon, under investigation for the murder of his wife Giusy Levacovich, 38 years old and mother of their four children, aged 22 years to 10 months, which occurred in Buggiano. The carabinieri of the Ardenza station in Livorno arrested him in Prato on the orders of the Livorno Public Prosecutor’s Office. Satori, defended by lawyers Stefano Camerini and Michele Nigro from Prato, was subject to a precautionary custody order in prison for receiving stolen goods and improper use of credit cards for events that allegedly occurred in the Livorno area between March 2023 and April 2024. The carabinieri they arrested him while he slept at the house of his father who lives in Prato. Based on the investigations carried out by the Carabinieri, on 3 April 2023, the suspect allegedly made five withdrawals and seven payments with the credit cards of a woman whose bag had been stolen from a car park in a shopping center in Livorno South. Same script on October 24, 2023, with three withdrawals from a card stolen from a woman in the parking lot of the same shopping center, and so again on December 23, 2023 and March 5, 2024.
