From June 22nd four multicultural cuisine events

The “Multi-cuisine Laboratory” is back again this year, a series of four evenings of multicultural cuisine to learn about foods and traditions by trying their hand at the kitchen together with people from other countries.

The initiative organized by the Municipality of Vicenza is organized in collaboration with the Via Firenze, 21 Onlus association and is financed by the Veneto Region through the Ria income support measure.

The first evening, themed around Syria and Morocco, will take place on Saturday 22 June; followed by the evenings Peru (26 June), Colombia (6 July) and finally Nigeria-Ghana (13 July).

«In this historical period of difficulty and uncertainty it is important to valorise the experiences and projects that contribute to promoting social inclusion and overcoming prejudices – underlines the councilor for social policies Matteo Tosetto -. The four evenings of exchange and conviviality were also created to encourage the creation of new relationships and the knowledge of other cultures through food, prepared by women who are rooted in our territory and who through their skills help us to build new ways of communicating. It is therefore with pleasure that I invite numerous people to participate in these events.”

All events will take place from 6pm to 8pm at the sports center in via Pascoli, 9 and will end with a convivial moment.

Entrance, free of charge, requires booking by telephone on 0444221020 or by email at [email protected]”.
