Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Disease, Gynecology and Obstetrics, the Breast Unit and Endocrinology of the University Hospital will join the day promoted by the Onda Foundation on 19 June.
SASSARI | June 16, 2024. The University Hospital of Sassari is next to join June 19th at the first edition of the (H) Open Day dedicated to the health of girls and women of all age groups. The initiative is promoted by the Onda Foundation, the National Observatory on women’s and gender health and is aimed at pink sticker hospitals. The goal is promote correct primary and secondary prevention in all phases of a woman’s lifefrom puberty to menopause. Throughout the day, they will be offered free clinical-diagnostic and information services to the female population in the specialist areas of pediatric cardiology, endocrinology and metabolic diseases, gynecology and obstetrics and breast medicine.
The doctors of Pediatric cardiology and congenital heart disease directed by the doctor Chiara Culeddu, they will carry out cardiological consultations and specific tests such aselectrocardiogram (ecg) to adolescents aged 12 to 18 and pregnant patients for the prevention of pre-eclampsia. Furthermore, they will execute echocardiograms of the Fetal heart for pregnant women. The exams and visits will be carried out from 8 am to 1 pm in the pediatric cardiology clinics located in the Mother and Child pavilion on the ground floor in viale San Pietro 12 in Sassari.
