A new one will open in Reggio Calabria by mid-2026 Mercure. The hotel will see the light thanks to the partnership between Accor and EGA., Emiliana Grandi Alberghi, which with the brand Monrif Hotels currently manages three hotels in the center of Bologna.
Located at the end of Corso Garibaldi, the hotel will become a new milestone in the city’s hotel offering: the strategic position, just 10 minutes from the airport, allows easy access to the main points of interest, including the train station, the Palace of Justice and the Granillo Stadium.
The Mercure Reggio Calabria it will be spread over 5 floors and will be available to travellers 89 rooms, divided into different types to satisfy every need: suites, junior suites / family rooms, premium and standard. The hotel’s proposal will also include a conference center with capacity for up to 200 people, a wellness center with a salt room, a rooftop with swimming pool also open to residents, lounge area with bar service and a restaurant on the first floor featuring a splendid terrace.
With the signing of the franchising agreement, Accor confirms its commitment to expanding the Midscale portfolio, with a structure that combines exclusive design and comfort, responding to the needs of modern travellers.
