It goes to archive Wimbledon 2024 draw. In chronological order we started from the draw for the women’s draw. A women’s draw that will be led as usual by Iga Swiatek who will have a very tough nut to crack, namely Sofia Kenin, in a challenge that pits two Slam champions.
Others particularly interesting first rounds will be staged starting from the one mentioned above, passing through the one between Sloane Stephens and Viktoria Azarenka, the one between Paula Badosa and Karolina Muchova, between Barbora Krejcikova and Veronika Kudermetova, between Jelena Ostapenko and Ajla Tomljianovic and between Clara Tauson and Danielle Collins.
There will be five Italians at the start: Jasmine Paolini is the number 7 seed and will face Sara Sorribes Tormo on her way in the first round, while the third round could be against one of Linda Noskova or Bianca Andreescu, also in the segment of Sara Erraniwho will find Noskova in her debut.
The first rounds will be especially difficult Martina Trevisan and Lucia Bronzetti: the Tuscan will face Madison Keys who is dangerous for anyone on these courts, while the Romagnola will face Leylah Fernandez, who reached the bottom this week in the Eastbourne tournament. The pairing is softer for Elizabeth Cocciaretto who will face the Romanian qualifier Todoni.
