PALERMO – He would be the perpetrator of two smash-and-grab thefts on November 9th. The attacks were carried out in an accessories shop in via Mariano Stabile and in a telephone business in viale del Fante.






The police who conducted the investigations managed to trace the alleged perpetrator, identified in a 27-year-old who was granted a precautionary custody order in prison.

The investigators of the San Lorenzo police station and of the Countering Widespread Crime section of the flying squad they connected the two assaults, carried out within a few minutes of each other and in the same way.

The 27-year-old was framed both by the images of the video surveillance cameras of the telephone center in Viale del Fante, and from a fingerprint taken inside the business.

The scooter used by the 27-year-old to reach the telephone center had been stolen a few days before the theft, for which the suspect will also have to answer for the crime of receiving stolen goods. Investigations are underway to trace the accomplice who allegedly participated in both attacks.
