“Palermo, De Sanctis sits at the table with Inter. Sebastiano Esposito is in his sights”, writes the Sicilian newspaper.

Palermo’s new sporting director, Morgan De Sanctis, carried out a raid on Inter’s headquarters in Milan. Yesterday morning, De Sanctis started the first exploratory dialogues with the Nerazzurri club to understand the feasibility of some negotiations. The meeting, still in its embryonic stage, covered various topics, considering that Palermo is looking for players to improve their squad, while Inter is interested in monetizing loan players who have increased their value.

One of the possible negotiations discussed is that for Sebastiano Esposito, a striker born in 2002 who recently played with Sampdoria in Serie B, scoring six goals. Esposito is part of the Under 21 national team and has significant experience, having also played in Serie A and European competitions with Inter. Sampdoria, by not exercising their right of redemption, left the door open for other clubs, including Palermo and Empoli, interested in bringing him to their teams.

During the meeting, Inter also asked for information on Giuseppe Pipitò, a young talent born in 2010 from Palermo’s youth sector, who attracted the attention of Juventus and Roma. Furthermore, Francesco Pio Esposito, brother of Sebastiano, born in 2005, who played last season with Spezia, was also mentioned.

The dialogue between De Sanctis and Inter marks the beginning of the construction of the new and ambitious Palermo, which aims to fight for promotion to Serie A. Despite the difficulties, the rosanero market is starting to move, with De Sanctis working for build a competitive team.
