At the Pertini social center in via Dei Salici in Legnano, the Festival of the Anpi sections of the Alto Milanese area will take place on 15 and 16 June, with a vast program of initiatives and events.

We start at 4pm with the opening of the party, immediately afterwards, at 4.30pm, Carlo Ghezzi (deputy vice-president of Anpi Nazionale) will speak, half an hour later, around 5pm, the presentation will take place on the centenary of the assassination of Giacomo Matteotti of the book “United in the same struggle. Memories of Matteotti” with Gianni Zuretti and with the presence of the authors Tommaso and Stefano Catone. In the evening, at 7.30pm, there will be a free dinner with pizza, toast, sandwiches; to end the day on Saturday, the Homecoming-125 & 15/band concert will take place at 9pm.

The day will begin at 12.30 with the Social Lunch with Anpi, the cost is 25 euros with reservations required, the menu includes first course, second course, side dish, dessert, coffee and water; after lunch, at 4pm, there will be a presentation of Renata Pasquetta’s book “Mauro Venegoni ei brothers”. Shortly afterwards, at 4.30 pm, there will be a further book presentation: “The beast of Bolzano”, with author Stefano Catone, interviewed by Monia Marchiori. In the late afternoon, around 6pm, Giuliano Celin will speak, after his speech, at 7.30pm, there will be a free dinner with salami, chips and sandwiches. To conclude, the Canto Sociale group will perform at around 9pm.
