PORDENONE – The second phase of the “Gender Violence” project is ready. How to ask for help?” curated by Voce Donna Pordenone with the support of Ascom-Confcommercio, Fipe, Terziario Donna,

The initiative sees Pordenone’s professional categories take the field in preventing gender violence through training activities and creating, side by side, a broad network of widespread awareness.

Doctors will lead this new phase of the complex initiative alongside Ascom-Confcommercio, Fipe (Italian Federation of Public Businesses) and Terziario Donna.
In fact, as part of the Continuing Medical Education 2024 programme, the Order of Surgeons and Dentists of Pordenone promoted and organized the training event entitled “Gender violence: what warning signs?” which will be held on Saturday 15 JUNE next, from 8.30 am to 1.00 pm, at the Auditorium of the “Antonino Cataldo” Order in Largo San Giovanni Bosco, n. 16 – Pordenone.

The event is professionally accredited and Fabiana Nascimben, director of the Emergency Medicine and Emergency Department of the San Vito and Spilimbergo hospitals and representative of the Gav (Asfo Anti-Violence Group), Valentina Zamai, manager, will bring their extensive skills to the topic. doctor of the SOC of Forensic Medicine, Anna Campanile, operator of the Voce Donna anti-violence centre, Nicola Mannucci president of In Prima Persona-Men against violence against women, Patrizia Cicuto, manager of the Sacile Consultancy, Cinzia Monte of the Anti-Crime Police Division-Police Headquarters of Pordenone.

In the meantime, as foreseen by the project, over 500 leaflets with the information necessary to identify the main entities in the area that can provide help and support to women who suffer violence, have been distributed in Pordenone in shops, bars, restaurants, hotels and other sensitive places.

The project “Gender-based violence: how to ask for help” will end on November 25, International Day against Violence against Women. On that occasion, a final report will be presented which will collect the data and results of the various actions implemented by the professional categories involved.
