Terni, Afad’s inclusive summer camp at Chico Mendes

Terni – It gets underway on June 17that the park Chico Mendesthe inclusive summer camp “Est…iamo” organized by Afad Terni.

This year too the association will be present trying to respond to the needs of families who experience economic problems or have children with disabilities by guaranteeing free participation in the summer camp.
Until July 26th, lots of sport thanks to the collaboration of the various sports clubs, nature, creative workshops and water games but above all the desire to be together. 150 children and young people were involved, of which 50 with disabilities.
The novelties this year will be the presence of a Lis interpreter to allow everyone to communicate and the collaboration started with the campuses of the Aita project which will see the presence at Chico Mendes of two psychologist educators specialized in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders, they followed the training courses of the neuropsychiatrist Professor Luigi Mazzone.
“We thank all the friends who support us through donations and initiatives because it is only thanks to them that every year we manage to implement such important projects for families” – says the president of Afad Delfina Dati.
