The championship of Serie C it never ends at the final whistle of the playoff final. Between courts and bureaucratic problems, summers always get hot. And the last case sees as protagonist theAncona who now risks registering for the next championship. The reason? The delay in submitting the documentation relating to the payment of the last salaries which could lead to rejection by the Covisocthe Supervisory Commission for professional football clubs.
Serie C, Ancona chaos: risk rejection?
Ancona has submitted the documentation for registration to the championship within the deadline, but the salary payments up to and including April (those who do not pay May and June by the deadline will have a penalty in the next championship) they would only have been made around 11.30 pm, right on the gong.
In total we are talking about approx 425 thousand euros and Covisoc will have to evaluate whether everything is in order. The city mayor, Daniele Silvetti, tried in vain to contact the Malaysian owner during the day Tony Tiong (located in Hong Kong) to resolve the problem and would have consulted the former owner Canil (holder of 5% of the club’s shares) to fulfill the monthly payments. Now the ball passes to Covisoc who will have just under a week’s time to analyze all the papers presented by Ancona and give an answer on the future of the club. It will do so by June 10th. The problem is linked more to a flaw in form than in substance, given that the documentation for registering for the championship was presented on time, unlike the salary payments, which were then made.
If the Commission were to reject the club’s application, the latter will have two days to appeal, more precisely by the peremptory deadline of 7pm on 12 June. If he does not respond or the exclusion from Serie C is confirmed, the doors to the project would be opened Milan U23.

Milan U23 is at the top of the list in the event that Ancona were to suffer exclusion from Serie C. The reason?
