TRIESTE The University of Trieste opens registrations for the next academic year from Monday 3 June.

A broad and multidisciplinary training offer is available to future members: 43 three-year and single-cycle degrees, as well as 37 master’s degrees, in the three technological-scientific macro-areas, life and health sciences, social sciences and humanities.

The training offer of the University of Trieste is extremely dynamic: in the last three years, 8 new degree courses have been activated. All information can be found on the UniTS website: here is the link

New for the 2024/25 academic year is the first level course in Dietetics (awaiting ministerial accreditation) which will be activated at the headquarters of Pordenone.

The course qualifies you to carry out the profession of dietician, aimed at promoting correct nutrition at different ages of life and the best nutrition in the preventive and clinical fields, in collective catering, in research and teaching. There are 30 places available and require passing the National Test for Health Professions.

The University of Trieste organizes a free preparation course, on 17 and 18 July, for the admission tests to degree courses in the medical-health area (Medicine and surgery, Dentistry and dental prosthetics and Health Professions).

The courses will then be officially presented on July 1st Master’s degree in Engineering for the Energy Transition and in European Policies for digital, ecological and social transitionstwo absolute novelties at international and national level respectively.

No tax area raised to 30 thousand euros and scholarships

UniTS has planned for the academic year 2024/25 a further increase in the no tax area, which reaches 30,000 euros (with ISEE – University less than or equal to this figure), and has maintained the broad system of total and partial exemptions, reductions and contributions based on merit.

The total exemption remains in force for the winners of the Regional Agency for the Right to University Education scholarships, awarded in recent years to 100% of those entitled. Furthermore, the benefits based on merit are confirmed, representing half of the total contributions for partial exemptions and reductions, demonstrating the excellent results of UniTS students and the University’s commitment to rewarding the deserving.

Almalaurea employment data

The university guarantees a job twelve months after graduation for 81.6% of three-year graduates compared to 75.4% of the national average and 80.2% of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Finally, 90% of master’s graduates are employed five years after graduation (88.7% national figure) and 83% after one year (Italian average 77.1%). This is the clearest picture that emerged from the Almalaurea 2023 report.

Guided campus tours and orientation

During the summer, the Orientation Office organizes guided visits to the Piazzale Europa Campus led by the student tutors of the courses. Booking is mandatory at this link: https://portale.units.it/it/studiare/orientarsi/vieni-a-conoscerci

It is also possible to meet the professionals of‘Orientation of UniTS and tutor students in presence at the Front Office, open every day, from Monday to Friday, from 9.30 to 12.30 and on Mondays also from 3.00 to 5.00 pm and remotely in the virtual classroom on the days and times indicated in the mandatory booking forms https://www.units.it/aula-virtuale

Finally, two free sessions are planned Summer Training Modules (in July and September): this is the orientation initiative dedicated to third and fourth year high school students who want to learn more about the Julian University and learn more about their favorite topics, test their interests and breathe the air of the university world.
