In a sports world where flags almost no longer exist, there are always some exceptions that confirm the rule and one of these concerns Soccer Altamura. After having fixed the bench, entrusting it to Cesare Rispoli, we start from a fixed point: also for the new season the captain of the red and white team will be Maria Difonzo.
Maria Difonzo’s career began with the birth of Soccer Altamura, a relationship that has cemented over the years, making the Altamuran number eight one of the symbols of the Murgia team. These are her first words, after the confirmation: “I have a red and white heart and being able to defend these colors again, for the twelfth consecutive year, fills me with pride. Soccer is a matter of the heart, a second skin. I feel really lucky. Being able to play for my city, being able to wear the armband and play with these colors are always beautiful emotions. The passion and love for these colors have always been the reasons that pushed me to give my best.”
Clearly after all these years, finding the right motivation to improve and do well becomes difficult, but the captain reassured: “The goal is always to improve! Last season taught us a lot, we made an incredible journey, arriving one step away from our goals. I think the time has come to take that extra step! It will be a fun season, we promise our fans this!”
The new Soccer Altamura team is therefore starting to take shape: mister Rispoli will be able to count on an experienced player, with innate charisma and who knows every facet of the red and white team.
