New systems and more power with sun and wind

2023 REVENUES at 97.8 million (they were 109.3 million in 2022), net profit of 10 million (unchanged compared to 2022), net financial position at 145.5 million, installed power in operation increased to 177.83 MW , thanks to the launch of new plants in Italy, investments in 2024 of 140 million euros for the construction of two wind farms in Italy. The production of the plants allowed a CO2 saving of 285,135 tonnes on an annual basis. These are the salient data from the 2023 management of the Tozzi Green Group, one of the main Italian operators in the renewable energy sector and among the main global players in rural electrification. The decrease in revenues, already foreseen in the Industrial Plan, is attributable to the lower energy prices recorded during 2023 and, in part, is offset by greater electricity production injected into the grid during the year (+28% compared to 2022) .

Revenues in Italy stood at 38.8 million (39.7% of the total) while revenues from abroad amounted to 60.3% of the total divided as follows: South America 29.9 million (30.5% ) and Africa 29.1 million (29.8%). Energy production from renewable sources contributed 59.9% of revenues, rural electrification contributed 29.6% and corporate services (which include Operation & Maintenance and Asset Management activities for power plants property or third parties and the agricultural branch) for 10.5%. “2023 – explains Andrea Tozzi (in the photo above on the left), CEO of Tozzi Green – was a year of further growth in our installed capacity and the increase is largely attributable to Italy, which represents our main target market, in which we will continue to invest significantly in the coming years. Our development has always been focused on our ability to design, build and manage plants from all renewable energy sources they will allow us to increase our installed capacity in Italy more rapidly in the coming years”. The Group has completed the construction and started up the wind farms in Murfi (Trapani – 8.8 MW) and Mazzarino (Caltanissetta – 10 MW).

Furthermore, it has obtained authorizations to start the construction of a photovoltaic plant located in Passo Cavaliere (Catania) and two wind farms located in San Severo (Foggia) and San Pancrazio (Brindisi) for a total of approximately 160 MW to be built in the next years. The total installed power in operation grew to 177.83 MW, in addition to the 222,000 photovoltaic kits installed relating to the rural electrification project in Peru. The production of the Tozzi Green plants has allowed a CO2 saving of 285,135.99 tonnes per year.
