San Bartolomeo The couple had only been out for a couple of hours Masseurs, and also for this reason when they returned home, on Saturday afternoon shortly after 4pm, the shock was strong. «As soon as we entered the garage we realized that the thieves had passed: the house was upside down» he says, shaken and embittered Luciano Masieri, former sports councilor and candidate in recent administrative elections; “Fortunately, so to speak, they didn’t take anything away, but there was a lot of damage.”
The house hit, and probably kept under observation for some time, is outside the town, about a kilometer and a half, but not isolated, as it is on the same Spinazzino Street there are many nearby homes. The thieves presumably arrived around 3:30 p.m., forced open the front door (“we’ll have to change it, it’s not salvageable,” says Masieri) and kept the family dog, loose in the house, at bay with the handle of the shovel found in the garden. Then they set about breaking down the walls, rummaging through, gutting: “They were probably looking for a safe, which we don’t have, and we don’t keep any money in the houses – it’s always the owner of the house who talks – We even found the skirting boards torn off, the fridge open, the linen from the drawers scattered on the floor. A hard blow to take, at this point it’s better if we weren’t at home.”
I Carabinieri of the Radiomobile They arrived in a few minutes and made the first surveys, today Masieri will go to file a complaint. We will see if the images from the internal surveillance cameras can be useful.
